Long Winter Farm began in 2016 when a partnership between retiring farmer Christine Kaiser, aspiring farmers Andrew and Annie Paradee, the Stowe Land Trust and the Vermont Land Trust resulted in the permanent conservation of the Kaiser farmland. Our chickens are fed organic grain and veggie scraps. We process chickens on-farm twice a year. Pick-up is here at the farm during a specified window of time. Chickens are $6/pound and tend to be in the 3-5 pound range. Pre-ordering is required.
